Welcome to planDisney, Angie!
Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner! I am sure your entire travel party is excited to start making magical memories together. Memory Maker is a great way to bring home iconic moments from your stay. It's a practically perfect souvenir. Let's go over the different Memory Maker purchase options, so you can get back to finalizing those last-minute details.
There are three different options for
purchasing Memory Maker. The first is Memory Maker One Day. This is great for those single-day visits that might happen throughout the year. If you plan on spending multiple days in the parks, this may not be the best option for your crew. The second is the classic Memory Maker. This offers the most flexibility and is also the highest-priced option. You can purchase this selection ahead of time or during your stay. Example: If you arrived yesterday and purchased this option today, you could still download yesterday's PhotoPass pictures. Yesterday would count as the first day of activation, and you would not need to pay additional for the photos taken.
And then there is Memory Maker with the advanced purchase option. This is where that 3-day rule you mentioned comes into play. You can purchase this option any time before you arrive. The activation date would be the first day you
use the PhotoPass service, not the date of purchase. Just be sure to keep that 3-day rule in mind. Any photos taken within three days of purchase (before or after) will not be included with your Memory Maker and would be a separate purchase.
No matter which option you choose, Memory Maker is the perfect way to get everyone in the photo. My Ohana chooses the advanced purchase option for all of our trips. This way, we save a little and get the whole family in all those unforgettable shots. You also
get all of your attraction photos and plenty of fun and unique options throughout the parks.
The Tiny World Magic Shots are a favorite of mine!
We'll see ya real soon!
