If purchase my memory maker on the 1st, will it be valid when I arrive on the 4th? Or will I still be one day too early?

Hi R! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh boy, oh boy! It is time to begin your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I know you are SO excited for all of the memories you are about to make! You will be very happy that you have purchased Memory Maker to capture them all. One of my favorite things about Memory Maker is that our whole family is able to be in the pictures together since Disney PhotoPass photographers are the ones behind the camera. We come home with hundreds of PhotoPass photos each trip, so I definitely think it is worth the purchase!

I recently spoke with a Cast Member for clarification on the dates of Memory Maker's advance purchase and am happy to pass along what I learned. According to the Cast Member, the advance purchase of Memory Maker purchased on the 1st of the month could be used on the 5th of the month, because the 3-day advance purchase requirement does not include the day of purchase. If Memory Maker is purchased today (Wednesday), then the first day of use would be Sunday. If you need to use Memory Maker sooner, you can purchase the Memory Maker that begins immediately which is only $30.00 more than the advance purchase (price subject to change at any time).

I hope this helps with your planning, R, and that you are smiling for the camera soon! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
