Hi Susan,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to discuss Memory Maker.
Yes, you can certainly purchase Memory Maker six months prior to your trip! According to the
Memory Maker Terms and Conditions, once you download your first photo, you have a 30-day window to use your Memory Maker. If you decide to do the one-day Memory Maker, be sure to note the differences in the terms and conditions.
Your photos will appear in your
My Disney Experience Account soon after you start taking them but will disappear as they expire. To check the expiration date on each photo, just click to enlarge the photo and you should see the expiration date at the bottom of the enlarged photo.
My family loves using Memory Maker! Photos typically show up a few minutes after you take them, but it could take a little longer. If you do not see a photo after a few hours, I would check with a
PhotoPass center. As long as you remember the general time and location of the photo, a cast member can help you find it and link it to your My Disney Experience Account!
Our favorite Memory Maker memories are the ride videos from the Tower of Terror and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The looks on everyone's faces as the ride drops on Tower of Terror are priceless!
Susan, Memory Maker has made my life, as the vacation planner and storyteller, so much easier! We get home and I have all of the photos I need to create our scrapbooks. The best part is that I am in the photos (instead of taking them)!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
