I want to purchase the Memory Maker before our family vacation. My parents are traveling with us under a linked (but separate) reservation. Can my parents and I both use the same one? Can they scan anyone's margic band to go to the same Memory Maker?

Hi Mary!  Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking such a great question!

On my last trip I had the pleasure of using the Memory Maker service and finding out a lot about it.  It was wonderful and one of my favorite abilities was that everyone in my party was linked to the same account. As long as you are assigned with the Memory Maker entitlement in your My Disney Experience account, and your parents are linked in the My Disney Experience Family & Friends list all pictures scanned to any of your Magic Bands will be linked to the same Memory Maker account.  My parents actually took my son to see Mickey while I was in a completely different park and it was great to be able to see those pictures in my account.

You can read more information and tips about the Memory Maker product in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Walt Disney World website.  You can also pre-purchase the Memory Maker Service by visiting the Memory Maker page.

Please come back if you have any further questions about your trip.

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
