Hi there! I want to purchase memory maker but I am concerned about activating it too early. We start our trip on August 16, 2018. If I purchase memory maker now (early July) how do I activate it - or does it start on its own if a pic is taken?

Hello Heidi, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

Memory Maker is one of my favorite PhotoPass products. It allows me to get in every family photo taken during my trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. I don’t have to worry about bringing my expensive camera with me on vacation. I can let Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers do all the work.

In my opinion, it’s never too early to purchase a Memory Maker. Currently, you can save up to $30 off the regular price when you purchase Memory Maker at least three days in advance of your arrival. Once you complete your purchase, it will be linked to your My Disney Experience account, but like your theme park tickets, it will not be active until you activate it. Your Memory Maker will be active once you download your first picture taken to Disney’s PhotoPass website or view them in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Take as many photos as you wish during your magical vacation. You have 30 days to edit, crop, share and download all of your photos before they expire. Preserve your memories with a number of customizable products available from the Disney’s PhotoPass. Calendars, mouse pads, phone cases and a Memory Maker archive DVD are just a few products available for purchase that will allow you to relive your magical moments.

    Say cheese,
    Andrea
