Hi Bill,
Welcome the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this Memory Maker question to us!
Happiness is waiting for you Bill. You only need to purchase one Memory Maker and you can share the photos with your husband. There are two ways you could manage your photos. You could link the Memory Maker to your
My Disney Experience Account and download all of the pictures yourself. Or, if your husband has his own My Disney Experience Account, you can connect his account to yours through your "My Family & Friends List." Once connected, he can also view the photos through his account.
When you take photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, just be sure to have the photographer scan your MagicBand after you have taken pictures. If both MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience Account or if you are connected through My Family & Friends, then the PhotoPass photographer could scan either MagicBand and the photos should automatically appear in your My Disney Experience Account.
As much as I love
Memory Maker and MagicBands, occasionally there are technical glitches. If a photo does not link automatically to your account, you can always stop by a Disney PhotoPass location and a cast member can help locate the photos then will link them to your account. You will just need to know the approximate time you took the photos and the location.
Bill, I am ecstatic that you are considering purchasing Memory Maker. It is a must-have for my family now. The ride photos are priceless. We took one photo on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train last summer where our girls had their hands thrown up in the air and it looks like my husband and I are holding on for dear life. The girls still remind us of that one!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
