    If I purchase the memory maker advanced purchase plan for $169, does that cover our whole vacation time at the parks? We will see the 4 parks over 4 different days.

    Hello Ivy!

    I am so excited that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up soon! I love using Memory Maker to capture all the Disney PhotoPass memories that I make on my Walt Disney World vacations!

    I would recommend that you purchase Memory Maker in advance of your Walt Disney World vacation because there is a discount for advance purchase, and it will be ready to use on day one of your vacation. When you purchase Memory Maker through the My Disney Experience website or the My Disney Experience mobile app, it will be linked to your My Disney Experience Account. It is not activated at the time of purchase because it is only active for 30 days. So if you decide to purchase Memory Maker it should be good for your entire vacation at all of the four theme park in Walt Disney World.

    Once you start your Walt Disney World vacation, you can activate your Memory Maker right in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. From the Home page of the My Disney World Mobile App, press the three lines on the lower right of the home page. This will bring up another page with boxes. You are looking for the box that is titled Photos. Then press the Link Photos on the upper right. This action will take you to various ways to link your PhotoPass Photos. There is a menu on the top of Link Photos, and if you hold your finger on this menu and drag it to the left, you will see Link Memory Maker (select this by pressing on it). Then type in your Memory Maker ID number to link it to your My Disney Experience Account if it is not already linked. To Active your Memory Maker, first, have a PhotoPass photo taken and locate this photo in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This PhotoPass photo will have PhotoPass watermarks on it. Press this photo, and it will get more prominent in the app. Then press on the photo a second time, and a button will appear that asks if you want to activate your Memory Maker. When you confirm your activation, the watermarks will disappear, and your 30 days will start.
