Hi Emily,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped back by with another question. It sounds like you are planning an extended adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Even during a short visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you can capture so many incredible memories with
Disney PhotoPass and Memory Maker. My family likes to tease me because I cannot seem to pass a good Disney PhotoPass opportunity.
I spoke with a Cast Member to be sure I have the most up-to-date information. Your plan for using your
Memory Maker will work but you will need to stay on top of your timing. From the Memory Maker
Terms and Conditions, "your Memory Maker Window begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time on the date you first download or unlock any Disney PhotoPass photo or other digital content on the Walt Disney World Resort site or the My Disney Experience app, and ends on the 30th day following such download or unlock date at 11:59 PM Eastern Time." If you are planning to use an Advance Purchase Memory Maker, you need to make your purchase at least 3 days before you plan to have any photos taken.
Any photos taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer or captured on an attraction will expire 45 days from when they are taken. If your vacation begins on June 1st and you have a photo taken that day, it will expire on July 16th. You could wait until the day your photos begin to expire before starting your Memory Maker download window, but I HIGHLY recommend you not leave it until the last day. After starting your download window, you will have 30 days to continue to collect and download photos.
Emily, thank you for visiting us with another great question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
