Hello Paula!
Welcome to
planDisney! We're delighted you've chosen to be our guest as you prepare for your magical vacation. Let's talk about one of my favorite topics - Disney dining!
Dining plans are exclusively available to Guests booking a vacation package at a hotel part of the
Disney Resorts Collection. Unfortunately, you cannot add a dining plan to your Marriott stay. I understand wanting to take advantage of your time share, so I'm happy to provide some tips for enjoying your trip without a dining plan.
My family and I are
Disney Vacation Club Members and often prepare several meals each day in our "home away from home" accommodations. We do this to save money and time in the theme parks, so adding a dining plan to our getaway rarely makes sense. Instead, we plan some special meals and take advantage of
Disney Visa Card or Annual Passholder discounts. Because the pre-payment feature of the dining plans is attractive, we do our version of this by accumulating
Disney Gift Cards or Disney Rewards Dollars in the months leading up to a vacation.
If you're looking for restaurants that offer good value when paying out of pocket rather than with a dining plan, a few of my favorites in each theme park are
Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park,
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT,
50's Prime Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. All of these serve excellent food for a great price. In
Disney Springs, I like
Raglan Road™ Irish Pub & Restaurant.
I hope this is helpful and that you have the best time on your upcoming adventure. If there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your enchanting escape even better, don't hesitate to reach out again. Thanks for visiting us, and have a magical day!
