    Can I still purchase Magicbands for a discount on my Disney experience app if I am staying at a Disney resort?

    Hey there, Carla! Welcome to planDisney!

    I'm so happy to be helping you out today! MagicBands happen to be my favorite Mouseketool in all of the Walt Disney World Resort! I find them so convenient, allowing me to unlock the door to my Disney Resort Hotel, scan into the parks and rides and even make payments so I don't have to dig in my backpack for my wallet every time I want to buy something! Plus, you have to admit, they are super cute!

    Carla, I also love delivering good news to Guests, so to answer your question.. yes! You can still purchase MagicBands at the discounted pre-arrival price through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. First, you'll want to make sure that you've linked your reservation so all the magic can begin! Next, open up your My Disney Experience app and click the menu button in the bottom right corner. Select "Resort Hotel," followed by "Choose Magic Bands." This will take you to a page that shows each Guest on your resort hotel reservation. Click "Get Started," then "Select" under the name of a Guest who will be choosing a MagicBand. You can scroll through the options here and even see the price change underneath each MagicBand. It is always nice seeing how much you're saving! Once you find the perfect MagicBand, click it, then add your name to the personalization bar. I find it helpful to do this so you can remember which band belongs to who on for future trips, especially if your MagicBands are similar. Select "Complete," then repeat this process for each Guest who will be getting a new MagicBand. Once you're finished, complete checkout and you are all set! 

    I also wanted to suggest checking your shipping address before completing this purchase. No one likes a delivery mishap, so select that menu button again on the app and choose "My Profile." Click the little pencil icon next to "Account Settings" and scroll to the bottom of the page. Here, you will find your billing and shipping addresses to either edit or keep as they are.
