Hi Valeria. Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with this sweet question, and I can just picture how special it would be to celebrate your son’s second birthday with a little Disney magic sprinkled on top.
I know it can be disappointing to see that
Disneyland Resort park reservations are not currently available for the date you have your heart set on. At this time, there is unfortunately no way to appeal or request an exception to the park reservation system. The only way to secure a reservation is through the availability calendar. That said, I always encourage guests to keep checking back. Plans do change, and it is not uncommon for
reservations to pop up closer to the date, sometimes even at the last minute. A little pixie dust and persistence can go a long way.
I am a
Magic Key pass holder myself, and I truly love the perks and special extras that come along with it. From special dining and merchandise opportunities to those fun, unexpected moments that make visits feel extra magical, being a Magic Key pass holder adds so much joy and flexibility to our Disney days. Magic Keys are currently available for purchase, though availability is limited, so if you decide it is right for your family, I recommend hopping on that as soon as you are ready.
Even if your son’s actual birthday does not end up being the day of your first visit, do not let that stop you from becoming a Magic Key holder. Celebrating on a different day can stretch the birthday fun a little longer, and at Disneyland, birthdays are always worth celebrating. Be sure to stop by
Guest Relations or a retail location to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your son. Wearing that button is a wonderful way to let Cast Members and fellow guests help sprinkle extra smiles on your visit, no matter when you go.
Valeria, I love how much your little one already adores Disney, and I can promise you there will be so many magical moments ahead for your family.
Wishing many magical memories to you.
Kimberly
