Janet from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Can you purchase magic hour for a 1 day ticket? If so how much? Do you honor magic hour on Fridays?

Greetings, Janet! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Early entry into the parks is an efficient way to see and do a lot early in the day. There are currently two types of early admission options: Extra Magic Hour and Magic Morning. Extra Magic Hour is for Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and can be used each day of your visit, including exclusive access to Disney California Adventure Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Magic Morning is for Guests that purchase a three-day or longer ticket and grants you a single early entry into Disneyland Park on either a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. There is not an early admission option currently available for one-day tickets. However, you can still tour the parks efficiently entering at the regular park opening. Make use of the Disney FASTPASS service to skip the lines at some of the larger attractions. Use the Disneyland app to see attraction wait times and FASTPASS return times before venturing to a particular attraction. And if you are able to use Single Rider lines, that will save you some time as well.

I hope you have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort!
