Jeffrey, I've become a big fan of using
Lightning Lane Passes to help maximize the magic of a theme park visit while minimizing my wait times, so I'm happy to chat with you today about the logistics of the product!
Jeffrey, your Lightning Lane eligibility is connected to the type of theme park ticket you have, so if you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom for the day of your visit, and you have a theme park ticket that includes the
Park Hopper Option, then yes, when you hop to Magic Kingdom, you will be able to select additional Lightning Lane options (pending availability) up until park closing. If you do not have park hopping privileges on your theme park ticket and enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM using your special event ticket, you will not be eligible to book additional Lightning Lane Passes. Keep in mind also that if you do have a park hopper ticket, you will only be able to book Lightning Lane Passes during regular park hours at Magic Kingdom (closing time is 6 PM on party nights), so once the park closes to regular guests, you will no longer be able to use this service.
Park hopping with Lightning Lane Multi Pass has become my favorite way to use this product, so if you do have a park hopper ticket, here are a few tips I can offer to help you make the most of your day:
- Be sure to select early return times for the first park you'll be visiting. As soon as you redeem your first return time, you can select additional attractions or experiences in any of the four theme parks for that same day. You'll find the best selection early in the morning.
- Remember, you can combine your Multi Pass purchase with up to two Lightning Lane Single Pass purchases for the same day (if you're park hopping, these do not have to be in the same park as your Multi Pass!)
- Be sure to have an idea of how your schedule will work for the day and what time you expect to arrive at your next destination when choosing additional attractions so you don't miss your return window!
