Welcome to planDisney, Michelle! Your
Disney Cruise Line voyage is about to begin, so let’s figure out together how to stay connected while you’re at sea.
Before your cruise, you’ll want to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and ensure that your reservation information is added. Then, once you’re at the port, you’ll connect to the DCL-GUEST Wi-Fi network. This will allow you to use all the app’s features while onboard, including viewing schedules, booking activities, and messaging other members of your party. If you’re looking for
internet access, select the "Connect to Internet" option in the app, which opens a separate browser, and you’ll be able to purchase the internet option that best meets your needs. Just note that the prices are per device, not per stateroom.
Now that you know how to connect to the outside world when necessary, let me give you a little advice: make sure you find some time to
disconnect, too. I recently went on my first cruise a few weeks ago, and I loved the escape and relaxing atmosphere it provided. I really cherished the times I got to just…enjoy the experience. Whether it was catching up with a good book on the beach at
Castaway Cay, chatting with my husband about the day over a drink at the
Haunted Mansion Parlor, or enjoying the out-of-this-world
entertainment options, it felt good to leave the outside world behind and embrace the magic of the vacation. Did I check emails? Yes. Did my husband check in with work a few times? Absolutely. But the rest of the cruise experience is what we’ll be talking about for years, and that’s what I want for you, Michelle!
Enjoy every moment of your vacation. If you have any other questions,
I’m more than happy to help!
Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever,
