Can I purchase Individual Lighting Lanes without purchasing Genie+?

Hey there, Andrea, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World Vacation starts tomorrow! But I’m sure your bags have been packed and sitting by the door for weeks at this point. Or maybe I’m the only one who does that?

Andrea, Disney’s Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lane purchases are available as separate purchases each Theme Park day. So the short answer to your question is: Yes! Guests are allotted two Individual Lightning Lane purchases each Theme Park day. If you are planning to stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of your vacation, your Individual Lightning Lane purchase window opens at 7 a.m. EST each day. If you are staying off-property, the Individual Lightning Lane purchase window opens at the official Theme Park opening time. Additionally, Guests can purchase both Individual Lightning Lane entrances when their window opens. The great news is that you can take it day by day! You may decide to only purchase Individual Lightning Lane entrances on one Theme Park day and purchase Disney’s Genie+ Service on another Theme Park day. The possibilities are endless!

I hope this helps, Andrea! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
