    How do I purchase imagine key for Disneyland? I was told and read they reopened for new purchase but when I try it shows renewal only. Please help.

    Welcome to planDisney, Amanda. Thank you for bringing your question to us - I'm pleased to help.

    Unfortunately, at this time, the only Magic Key Pass available for purchase is the Inspire Key. When Magic Key sales reopened earlier in the year, they were subject to availability and may not be available from time to time or at any given time. You are indeed correct that the Imagine Key is currently only available for renewal. I'm so sorry that you currently aren't able to purchase one, Amanda.

    Did you know that California residents have the option of a payment plan for Magic Key passes? If you choose this option, there will be a down payment due at the time of purchase. It may be worth exploring the Inspire Key to see if this option perhaps makes sense for you. Something to keep in mind, once you've made a Magic Key purchase, it is nonrefundable and you are not able to downgrade your pass.

    If the Inspire Key doesn't work for you, I would recommend following @DisneylandMagicKey on Instagram for any new updates. This is where the news was first shared when Magic Key sales reopened. If and when this happens, you will be one of the first to know. 

    Amanda, did you know there's a special SoCal Resident ticket offer available right now through May 25? This offer gives you the opportunity to visit the parks on three different weekdays, and they don't have to be consecutive visits. You will need to be a Southern California resident within the zip codes 90000-93599 or a Northern Baja California resident within zip codes 21000-22999. I recommend reviewing the offer details as well as checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure your desired dates are available.
