Hi Terese! Welcome to planDisney!
Soon enough, you’ll be on the adventure of a lifetime, enjoying all that
Walt Disney World has to offer! Did you know that if you’re visiting any time in 2022, you’ll get to join in on
The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of Walt Disney World's 50th? It is such a fabulous time to be in the parks, with sprinklings of EARidescent pixie dust around every corner, so I'm so excited for you to arrive to join in on the fun! Do keep an eye out for the
celebratory bites available throughout the parks. These delicious treats are only available for a limited time, so be sure to try a few before they're gone!
Speaking of delicious treats, even with all the incredible food at Walt Disney World, sometimes you really do just want the comforts of home. So, getting groceries delivered to your hotel is such a great idea! I always like to order some cases of water and a few of my favorite snacks to be waiting for me at my
Disney Resorts Collection hotel when I arrive. Ordering groceries is super simple. All you’ll need to do is build your order on your favorite grocery delivery service, like Amazon Fresh or Instacart, and set the delivery address as your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. You’ll also want to make sure your name is listed as the recipient on the order.
Then the Cast Members working in Bell Services will accept the grocery delivery on your behalf and store your items until you are ready to receive them. This way, you don’t have to worry about waiting around for your delivery and can go off and enjoy your day. How great is that? One exception here will be if you are ordering any items that require age verification, in which case you would need to be there to accept the delivery.
As an added bonus, they will also make sure that any perishable items get refrigerated upon arrival, so feel free to order any fresh food you like as well! However, keep in mind that unless you are staying in one of the Villa-style rooms with a full kitchen, the fridge in your room will be small, so don’t order too much!
To pick up your items, simply head over to Bell Services and give them your name, and they will pull the order out of the storage area for you. If you’d like, Bell Services can also bring your groceries up to your room for a small fee that will be charged to your room account. That
fee is currently $6 but is subject to change. However, there is absolutely no charge if you choose to bring the groceries up to your room yourself.
Terese, I do hope I have been helpful to you today! If you have any other questions, please feel free to visit us again, as we would love to help out!
Until next time,
Diana
