Hey there, Peter!I love using Disney Gift Cards to make purchases of theme park tickets, Magic Key passes, merchandise and souvenirs, hotel stays, and much more while visiting the Disneyland Resort. Perhaps you've already learned that the secret behind these magical little cards is that they can often be purchased at a discount. For California residents who live close to The Happiest Place on Earth, or even for frequent out-of-state visitors like my family and me, those savings sure add up across multiple visits. In fact, I just got back from running errands that included a purchase of several Disney Gift Cards from our local discount warehouse store.As I mentioned, Disney Gift Cards may be used for a variety of purchases at the Disneyland Resort. That includes items purchased at a discount. So when I show my membership in the Disney Vacation Club or my Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass, I can automatically take advantage of those discounts afforded to me as a member of those programs. Likewise, California residents, like your daughter, will automatically be granted discounts for which they are eligible with the purchase of select Magic Key passes or theme park tickets. Note, your daughter will need a valid government-issued photo ID that shows her California address to both purchase and activate passes and tickets intended only for California residents.It's also important to note that some purchases, such as for theme park tickets and Magic Key passes, may only utilize up to one Disney Gift Card per transaction. If someone has multiple gift cards, they can visit the Disney Gift Card website to combine the value of multiple cards onto a single card, up to a total of $1,000 per card. Sometimes when I'm purchasing multiple items, I make more than one transaction so I can use more than one gift card. I find your generosity inspiring, Peter. I'd like to be as kind a parent as you. I think I'll give one of the Disney Gift Cards I purchased today to my daughter as a gift for the Holidays.
