Hello, Anna,
That is so wonderful. I wish I were as kind of a person as you. Adding even more magic during a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a wonderful thought.
Even if the
Disney Genie+ service is added to a
theme park ticket by another Guest from a different account, the ticket holder will still be able to enjoy many of the benefits of Genie+ from the convenience of their own mobile phones. For example, anyone with tickets linked to their account can help with booking
Lightning Lane return times for any or all of the tickets that have the Genie+ entitlement purchased for the tickets, no matter who purchased that entitlement. They’ll also want to take advantage of another of my favorite Genie+ benefits: Audio Tales, which is sort of like a digital tour guide to highlight all the magical storytelling showcased in the Disneyland Resort.
Tony’s Tip: I reached out to Briar Rose at the Disneyland Resort for clarification about how to use the
Disney PhotoPass benefits that come with Genie+. She told me that the Guest that purchases Genie+ for the tickets is the primary Guest for the PhotoPass entitlement. That Guest is welcome to download and share the photos with the entire party, or even
the entire world! In case other members of the party split up from that person, I recommend they request a PhotoPass card from any Disney PhotoPass photographer. The primary Guest for Genie+ can then link all of the party’s PhotoPass card codes to their own account. That will give them access to all of the PhotoPass photos taken on the days that Genie+ is active. Don’t forget to ask for all the
Magic Shots!
Have a magical time, Anna!
