I'm so glad to hear that you want to unlock the phenomenal cosmic powers of
Disney Genie+ Service for your magical day. If you didn't add Disney Genie+ Service when initially purchasing your theme park tickets, I'm happy to share that you will still have the opportunity to summon Genie for your Disney day. This is how it works. Once everyone has been scanned in and entered the parks, you will open the
Disneyland app to purchase Disney Genie+ Service. You will see the banner to purchase towards the middle of the home screen. Keep in mind that Genie+ Service is available on a limited basis and pricing will vary.
Whenever I'm at the Disneyland Resort with a group and we're all using Disney Genie+ for the day, I find it's really helpful to have all of our tickets linked for ease of booking
Lightning Lane selections and ensuring that we all obtain the same arrival window. To link your tickets, open the Disneyland app and tap the "☰" to open the menu followed by tapping the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the upper right corner followed by "Link Tickets & Passes" where you can manually enter each ticket ID number or use the "Camera" feature to quickly scan each ticket's barcode. That's all there is to it. Now you can have a designated Genie master to manage everyone's Lightning Lane selections for the day.
A couple of my go-to attractions that I like to book Lightning Lane selections for are Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - it is the wildest ride in the wilderness after all. Remember to collect all of your attraction photos for the day and while I'm on the topic, make some time to stop for some pictures with a Disney PhotoPass photographer. With Disney Genie+ Service, you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads from the day. This definitely calls for a snap in front of the iconic
giant Mickey pumpkin!
