I want to purchase Genie+ but I will also have an infant and toddler with me. They are under 3 so don't need tickets. Do they need Genie + though?

    Welcome to planDisney, Leanne!

Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. As a dad to two young Mouseketeers, I always love helping fellow parents plan their next trip to The Happiest Place on Earth. I still remember taking my son and daughter on their first Disney vacations. Seeing it through their eyes was more magical than I anticipated. Make sure you get plenty of photos and videos. You'll cherish those memories forever!

Since your kids are under three years old, they are considered "Guests of Mickey." As you mentioned, they, therefore, don't require a theme park ticket or theme park reservation. But there's more good news: if you decide to purchase Disney Genie+, your kiddos will be able to join you on any attractions that you make Lightning Lane selections for (assuming they meet the height requirement, of course). But one thing to note: if you decide to make dining reservations, you'll want to include your children in the Guest count. This way, the Cast Members will make sure you have a table big enough for your entire family.

If you're looking for some great, kid-friendly attractions, Fantasyland in Disneyland Park is the place to go. My own kids especially love "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Mad Tea Party. However, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was a little frightening for my son. Sometimes, late a night, I can still hear the screams.

Here's my parting tip: take advantage of the Baby Care Centers around the theme parks. In Disneyland Park, you'll find one at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and in Disney California Adventure you'll find one on Pacific Wharf. These are convenient places to change diapers, swap clothes, or simply give your little ones a break from all the stimulation.

    I hope that's helpful, Leanne! I trust you'll have a magical trip.
