    If you purchase a general admission ticket are you eligible to leave a park and return to same park.

    Hi Sharon! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney! I’ve got great news for you!

    Guests with a valid theme park ticket, as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation, are allowed to enter, exit, and then re-enter the same park on the same day! This has been my family’s tried and true vacation strategy for as long as we have visited the Walt Disney World Resort! We rise with the sun and enjoy a quick-service breakfast at our resort hotel. We then head over to “open” the park and enjoy the morning hours while crowds (and temperatures) are lower. We then head back to our resort to enjoy lunch, a swim, and a nap at the resort pool! Then it’s back to the same park to enjoy more rides until we “close” the park later that night.

    This strategy has become even better now that the Disney Parks have introduced the Early Theme Park Entry benefit for Guests staying in the Disney Resorts Collection! This benefit allows Guests of those resort hotels to enter the theme parks 30-minutes prior to the official park opening!
