Hey there, hi there Nancy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.
Hot dog! As one of Mickey Mouses's closest neighbors, you're eligible for some fantastic special offers on hotel stays and
theme park tickets. My parents live part time in the Sunshine State and love to take advantage of these deals. With so much to zip-a-dee-do during the
50th-anniversary celebration, you'll surely want to visit again and again, so an Annual Pass is a great option.
At this time, Walt Disney World has paused the sale of all
Annual Passes except for the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which you are eligible to purchase as a Florida resident. This pass is valid most weekdays, but make sure to
check the blockout dates that fall during peak and holiday travel periods to see if it will be a good fit for you. You can purchase an annual pass either
online or at a Walt Disney World ticket booth. You'll need to be logged into your My Disney Experience account to unlock
resident ticket and pass offers. I recommend
verifying your residency online before finalizing the purchase to save time once you arrive at Walt Disney World.
I hope this is helpful! If you're looking for a more flexible ticket that will allow you to enjoy the parks any day of the year, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog to find out when all Annual Passes will be available again. You can also purchase standard theme park tickets at a reduced cost on the
Florida Resident special offers page. My parents joined us on vacation last summer and got a great deal on 4-day Park Hopper® tickets. These tickets aren't subject to blockout dates, so you can visit the theme parks any day you want (pending
theme park reservation availability).
Best wishes for a wonderful year of visits, Nancy, and if there's ever anything else we can do to make your trips even more magical, don't hesitate to reach out again. We're all ears!
Betsy
