Hi Jacalyn,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. In my experience, when we have activated our
Florida Resident annual passes, only the adults in our family have needed to show ID. If I understand your question, your granddaughter lives in Florida, so she shouldn't need ID of her own as long as her guardian who will be activating the pass for her has Florida ID.
Once the pass is activated, your granddaughter should be able to enter the theme parks with any adult, regardless of who that adult is -- parent, guardian, grandparent or friend. She will just need to scan her MagicBand or annual pass card and scan her finger for identification.
I hope that helps, Jacalyn. If you need more information, please check back with us. Or you can call the passholder guest relations line if you have more specific questions that they may need to answer for you. That number is 407.560.7277.
What a great gift an annual pass will be for your granddaughter and for you. Enjoy making
Walt Disney World memories together!
Wilma
