Hi Rachele,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!
I completely understand little guys with food and sensory issues. Although my son has gotten much more adventurous as he gets older, he still has issues with certain kinds of textures and tastes with his food. I’m happy to say that, regardless of which dining location we’ve visited at Walt Disney World Resort, the restaurants and their culinary team have ALWAYS been more than happy to accommodate his needs. For example, they’ve made meals for him with all the sauces on the side, or they’ve even made him a special, more bland meal, that would be more to his liking.
My recommendation would be to check the menus for the locations that offer the
Fantasmic! Dining Package at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you see something on the menu (or even the Allergy-Friendly menu) that you think would be easy to customize for your sons, then I’d pick that location for your package. For example, I’m sure that there are several pasta dishes at
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano that could be adapted to suit their tastes. You can also try the buffet offerings at
Hollywood & Vine; I’ve found that there’s always a wide variety of foods to satisfy my son at Disney buffets, plus the presence of Disney Characters can sometimes make him more adventurous!
If you have any concerns about your dining options during your upcoming visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the
Special Dietary Requests team. They’ll be happy to work with you to address any concerns you may have.
And, as always, if you have any other questions about your upcoming Disney Parks vacation with your little ones, please come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
