If I purchase an event ticket for mickeys not so scary Halloween party, Do I still need a separate park ticket ??

    Hello Deborah!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your fall getaway to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be delighted to discuss one of my favorite seasonal events, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My family and I hope to incorporate this spook-tacular celebration into our next vacation. Let get ghouling!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event that offers frightful fun, entertainment, and exclusive nighttime spectaculars on select evenings from 7 PM to midnight at Magic Kingdom Park. You do not need to redeem a day of theme park admission to attend; you just need a party ticket. For this reason, it's a great activity to plan on a day when you're not visiting other theme parks. I love to go either on my arrival day or during my trip when I'm taking a break and enjoying a resort day. Stay tuned to our Instagram account and the Disney Parks Blog as more details are released about this year's devious delights!

I've enjoyed several parties at Magic Kingdom Park, so I'll share a few quick tips based on recent experiences.
    • In the past, Guests with tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have been permitted to enter Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 PM. This is an excellent way to enjoy extra theme park time before the festivities.
    • Adults can attend the party wearing costumes! Late September temperatures are still high in Florida, so make sure your outfit is comfortable and aligns with party guidelines.
    • There are typically two Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parades performed per party. This parade is a highlight for me, and I usually watch it twice. If you're only going to see it once, the second one is usually less crowded.
    • I like to have a small, early dinner before I arrive and enjoy exclusive treats during the party. As you enter the park, pick up a party guide to find your favorite sweets and snacks.
I hope this is helpful and you have a boo-tiful time at the party, Deborah. If there's anything else we can do to make your Halloween holiday even more magical, don't hesitate to write to us again.
