Cheers, Tara! Thanks for tumbling by planDisney with your question about attending The Cheerleading Worlds at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this spring! This is sure to be an amazing event showcasing the talent of All-Star Cheerleading teams from all over the world! My own daughter is a competitive cheerleader, so I've learned a little about being a spectator over the years, and I'm happy to answer your question today!
Because this competition is hosted by a third-party organization, there are a few ways to gain access to the event. If you are traveling with a team as part of the Hotel Travel Package, or if you purchased discounted tickets through the organization, your included Park Hopper tickets allow admission to the competition. Otherwise, as standard theme park tickets that include admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports will not be eligible for this particular event, you will need to purchase spectator tickets online.
According to the information I could find online from the organizer, these tickets should be available approximately one week before the event. To find ticket sales, you can go through the
Event Finder on the ESPN Wide World of Sports website and click "Learn More" to be directed to online sales once they are available. In the meantime, this same link might provide additional insights into the competition schedule or other information to make the most of your experience as a spectator. Keep in mind ticket sales will be online only, and tickets will not be sold at the event itself.
Tara, I am sure you are going to be delighted by the athleticism, commitment, and talent of the over 500 teams that are competing at this prestigious championship! It's going to be an exciting weekend to celebrate the sport and camaraderie of cheerleading across the globe, and I hope you enjoy every moment of it!
