Hi Jacqueline!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR!
Oh wow, you're the World's Best Aunt, Jacqueline! (Are you looking to adopt a niece in her 30's?) I am very happy to confirm that Yes! Not only will your nephews be able to spend an
E-Disney Gift Card at
Disneyland Resort for
souvenEARs and all kinds of
sweet or salty treats, there are actually a few different ways for their mom to hold on to and use this form of Mickey Money:
~ Once the email has been opened, Mom can take a screenshot of each
Disney e-gift card to save as a picture in her phone or smartwatch. Then when the Mouseketeers are ready to buy something she can pull up the pictures of the gift cards vs. having to dig in her email or risk not being able to find a strong signal, etc.
~ The Gift Card Numbers themselves can be copied and pasted into a note on the parent's phone that can then be copied & pasted into the payment box of the
Disneyland Mobile App should your mini Mickey's want to splurge on anything that can qualify for
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, an
Individual Lightning Lane purchase, or even
Merchandise Mobile Checkout.
~ If Mom has an iPhone, she'll be able to add these to her Digital Wallet. These can even be scanned from the email, photo album or digital wallet on a smartwatch!
~ Lastly, there's always good, old-fashioned printing of the gift cards, which I can report also works.
I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Jacqueline! I hope that your family has the Best! Disney! Days! Ever! And I hope that next time they invite you so that you can join in the magic with them! Thank you again for stopping by, Jacqueline, and tell your nephews that Mickey is so excited to see them real soon!
