Tyler from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How can I purchase DR passes with my Chase Rewards card when they dont allow for that information to be added? They allow for credit card, but as this doesn't have a name or expiration date, it wont let me add it

Hi there, Tyler! Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you are arriving at the Happiest Place on Earth TOMORROW! I won't waste a magical minute getting this answer over to you, and I'll be sure to send it along with some pixie dust so it arrives in time.

It sounds like you are looking to purchase theme park tickets to the Disneyland Resort using your Disney® Visa® Rewards Redemption Card - I hope I have that right. If I do, I have some GREAT news for you! Once you reach the payment stage of the checkout process, you will see that there is actually an option to pay with your Redemption Card. This is a separate option from paying with your credit card. If you look just under the  "How Would You Like to Pay?" banner, you'll see two boxes - one says "Use a Disney Gift Card" and the other says "Use a Disney Rewards Redemption Card". These two boxes are above where you would normally select to pay with a credit card. Just check the box, enter your card number and security code, and you should be good to go. Generally, you will also need to input a regular credit card as backup. If for some reason you are still having issues identifying where to input your card information, you can always reach out to the Guest Services team that specializes in ticketing. They will be happy to help you!

If you are still planning to head to the parks tomorrow and have not yet purchased your ticket, don't forget that you will also need to secure a theme park reservation. You will do this as part of the checkout process, so it's not an additional step once the tickets are purchased. I just took a peek at the theme park reservation calendar and it looks like both One Park Per Day Tickets and Park Hopper Tickets have reservations available for Disney California Adventure Park. If you are hoping to visit Disneyland Park, I would continue to check that calendar as it updates live as Guests make and change their reservations. Alternatively, you could opt for a Park Hopper which would allow you to jump over to Disneyland at 1 p.m. - plenty of time to find some magic!

As a fellow card holder, one of my favorite perks is taking advantage of the Disney® Visa® Cardmember Photo Opportunity over at Disney California Adventure Park. This is an exclusive photo opportunity with one of your favorite friends. You never know who will greet you, but I guarantee you will be happy to see them! This opportunity is usually open from just 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is located over by Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue. Just present your card upon arrival, and you'll also be treated to complimentary downloads of your photos!

Tyler, I hope this was helpful and that this time tomorrow you are strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach back out to us here at planDisney

    Magic awaits!
