Can we purchase Disneyland tickets now and wait awhile to make reservations. Or do reservations need to be immediately made?

    Hi Deshae,

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here at planDisney, we really appreciate you sending us your question! I am so happy to see that you are considering visiting Disneyland Resort, I can't wait to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Since you are a California Resident, you are one of the first guests who will be able to get back to the magic.  Once you purchase your Theme Park Tickets, Theme Park Reservations don't need to be made right away, but if you have a specific date in mind I highly recommend making the reservation as soon as possible since capacity is still limited and availability is always subject to change.  If you purchase a 1-Day Theme Park Ticket, depending on what ticket Tier you purchase you may have some dates that will be unavailable, so it may be easier to purchase your Theme Park Tickets when you know for sure when you would like to visit.  Prior to purchasing, take a look at the Theme Park Availability Calendar to make sure your preferred date is still available.  Here is also an overview of the Tier system to help select your best option when purchasing your Theme Park Tickets. If you are purchasing a 1-Day Tier 5 Theme Park Ticket or Multi-Day Theme Park Ticket you will be able to make Theme Park Reservations up until the expiry date indicated on your Theme Park Ticket.

I hope you will be back at Disneyland Resort soon, Deshae.  Please come back to us here at planDisney if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
