Hey there, Leslie! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get answers to all their planning questions and we are here to help you.
All tickets regardless of when and where they are purchased also require a
theme park ticket reservation for entry into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. So if you purchase tickets to Disneyland Resort from Target they will come with instructions on how to link these tickets to your Disney account. Once they are linked, you will then need to go and make theme park ticket reservations. If the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar does not have availability for the day or park you are hoping to visit you will not be admitted entrance. This is one of the big downfalls of purchasing your tickets from somewhere besides
Disneyland's website.
October dates have been booked pretty quickly, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible for you to visit on the days you are hoping to attend. The
Theme Park Reservation Availablity Calendar is fluid meaning that as Guests book and cancel reservations, dates can open back up. I suggest that you just keep checking. I've had luck grabbing a date I've been trying for the night before when Guests tend to make last-minute cancellations.
Leslie, thanks again for taking the time to bring us your question. We are here for any other planning questions you might have. See you real soon!
