Greetings, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney! This is a great year to visit the Disneyland Resort – the
70th Anniversary Celebration is beginning soon, Halloween Time will bring spooky fun, and the holidays will be so festive!
Michelle, to enter a Disneyland Resort theme park, each Guest (ages three and older) must have both a valid ticket and a
park reservation. Your ticket will ultimately allow you to pass through the gates at the main entrance. However, for your ticket to be used, it must be paired with a park reservation, which indicates the date you will visit. Think of the theme park ticket as a car and the reservation as the key that turns it on – you need both for the car to go.
If you purchased your theme park tickets directly from the Disneyland website, you’ll be prompted to select your reservation dates during the checkout process. It's easy! And once the purchase is complete, you’ll be all set and ready to count down to the fun!
If you have your tickets but haven’t made a reservation yet, or if you need to switch your plans, don't worry. Sign into your Disney account on the
Disneyland website or the
Disneyland mobile app and make sure your tickets are linked. Follow the prompts to make a new reservation or modify an existing one.
Michelle, are you looking to visit soon? Visit the
Disney Parks Blog to check out some of the exciting entertainment, merchandise, and food coming to the Disneyland Resort as part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration.
Paint the Night is my favorite parade ever – music will fill the air as dazzling floats and Disney Characters make their way along the parade route. For the rest of the night, you'll be singing, "When can we do this again?"
Michelle, if you have any other questions, please reach out to us here at planDisney. We're always happy to help!
Your pal,
Kriss
