Hi there, Robert!
Yes, theme park tickets may be purchased in person at the Disneyland Resort main entrance ticket booths. However, I strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, either
online or in the
Disneyland mobile app. That is because each guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. The same
theme park reservation availability calendar applies for both advanced ticket purchases and in-person purchases. Because reservations are limited, there is a possibility that there may not be any remaining if you wait until the day of your visit to purchase your tickets.
: If you are seeking to purchase tickets in person because you wish to pay with cash, I recommend using cash to purchase a Disney Gift Card from a local retailer. Then, use the gift card for ticket purchase online or in the Disneyland app. Only one gift card may be used per transaction. For your convenience, multiple gift cards may be combined on the
Disney Gift Card website, up to $1000 per card.
Tony’s Tip Times Two: During especially popular seasons of the year, such as
Halloween Time, park reservations may be a little harder to find. In circumstances like this, my family has found that we are usually able to secure park reservations by booking a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. On-site hotel Guests may access
theme park reservations exclusively for them by booking the reservations from the
My Hotel Reservation page.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Robert!
