That is an excellent question. I'll do my best to answer this!
When the
Disneyland Resort re-opened, a
theme park reservation system was implemented, requiring Guests to have both a theme park reservation and a valid
theme park ticket to enter the parks. There is always a chance that reservations to visit
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park can become fully booked on any particular day. I suggest monitoring the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see if reservations are available on the day you wish to visit.
As an example, today is August 30, 2022. When I look at the reservation availability calendar, I see availability at both parks both today and tomorrow. However, if I look at the calendar for September 2022, I see that September 10, 2022, and September 25, 2022, are fully booked. So it really depends on how the demand is on particular days.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort starts on September 2, 2022, and lasts through October 31, 2022. This is a super fun time to visit the parks and I highly recommend you do if your schedule allows it!
