Hiya, Renee!
You betcha! Most Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets may be upgraded to another ticket or
Annual Passport of equal or greater value. To upgrade a ticket while it is still valid (before the last day of use) and before it expires (13 days after the first day of use or after the date printed on the ticket) take it to a Main Entrance ticket booth, a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Front Desk or Concierge, or a
Guest Relations location in a theme park. The original amount paid toward a three-day ticket may be applied toward the current price of a new four-day ticket. The conditions for upgrading to another ticket type are similar to the
conditions when upgrading to an Annual Passport. Check the Disneyland Resort website for more information about the
2020 “Kids Everywhere” three-day ticket offer.
Tony’s Tip: To maximize your savings, consider the type of tickets you would like to purchase and possibly use different combinations of tickets types. For example, purchasing a
2020 “Kids Everywhere” three-day ticket and a regular one-day ticket may offer some savings over the purchase of a four-day ticket in some cases. If the day you choose to visit the parks with a one-day ticket is a “Value” day rather than a “Regular” day or “Peak” day, you may realize some savings. Since multi-day tickets do not need to be used on contiguous days, you may even opt to use a one-day ticket somewhere in the middle of your vacation. If you choose this approach, I recommend carefully checking which tickets you use on which day so you don’t accidentally use up one of the days of your multi-day ticket when you intend to use a one-day ticket.
This is a great time to be visiting the Disneyland Resort. There are special events like the
Lunar New Year celebration and the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. The new
"Magic Happens" Parade arrives this
Spring. And the most advanced Disney theme park attraction ever,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opens in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on January 17, 2020.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Renee! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any more questions you may have.
