Hello there, Shelley! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!
“Park pass” can mean different things depending on what you’re looking for, so to make sure you have the right information, I’ll go over both Magic Key annual passes and standard theme park tickets. That way, you can choose whatever works best for you.
If you’re hoping to purchase a Magic Key annual pass, you can buy one on the
Disneyland website or through the
Disneyland mobile app. Magic Key availability changes throughout the year, and as of the time I’m writing this, the Inspire Key and Believe Key are both available for purchase. Because availability can shift at any time, I recommend visiting the Magic Key page and clicking the “Purchase Passes” button soon if this option interests you.
If instead you’re looking to purchase theme park tickets, you’ll follow a similarly easy process. Start on the
theme park tickets page and choose the ticket type you’d like. Then, select the number of days you’d like to visit and how many Guests will need tickets. Next, you’ll need to decide between One Park Per Day or
Park Hopper tickets. I personally love the Park Hopper option because it gives you the flexibility to start your day in one park, hop to the other beginning at 11 AM, and enjoy the
attractions,
dining, and entertainment on both sides of the Esplanade.
From there, you’ll select your visit date(s).
Theme park reservations are required for each day of your trip, and you’ll be able to make those reservations right during the purchasing process. After choosing your date and starting park, you’ll also have the option to add
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and even prepay for parking if you’d like. Once you tap “Continue,” just follow the prompts, and you’ll be all set.
After completing your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes a link to your eTickets. You’ll also see them appear in the Disneyland mobile app as long as you’re signed in to the same account you used to buy them. Just open the app, tap the menu (☰) button, and select “My Tickets & Passes”—your new tickets should be waiting there like magic.
Before you decide which option is right for you, Shelley, I also recommend taking a moment to check the
Special Offers page on the Disneyland website. Throughout the year, you’ll often find promotions on park tickets,
Disneyland Resort hotel stays, and even merchandise, which can be a wonderful way to make your visit even more magical.
I sure hope this helps, Shelley! If you’d like to share a bit more about your plans—how often you hope to visit, when you’re thinking of traveling, or who you’ll be visiting with—we’d be happy to help you narrow down which option fits best. You’re just a few clicks away from your next Disney day—please come back and visit us here at planDisney anytime!
See ya real soon!
