Albert from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If I purchase a Disneyland (CA) annual pass on a blackout date, will I be able to use the pass the same day? I have a Galaxy’s Edge reservation but also want to purchase an annual pass. Thanks for your help!

    Greetings, Albert!

Happy I am to hear from you. Much adventure you will find as a new member of the Annual Passholder family. Pleased you will be with your experience at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park.

Yes, when purchasing a new Disneyland Resort Annual Passport on a blockout day for your selected level of Passport, you may request a blockout exemption card from the Main Entrance ticket booth Cast Member. My family and I did this just recently, and the process worked very well. I recommend you arrive as early as possible to have sufficient time to process your new Annual Passport. Please bring with you a photo ID.

Be sure to follow along with the “Know Before You Go” series presented by Disneyland Ambassador Justin Rapp. There, you will learn tips and important information to make you experience on Batuu as smooth as possible.

Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have, Albert.

May the Force be with you!
