Sam, I understand how important it is to choose the perfect
DisneyBand+ and
MagicBand+ for your upcoming sailing. It's not only an important accessory to wear each day, but a collectible item! And I am happy to share good news about ordering from different sources. When you go to order your DisneyBand+ on the
Disney Cruise Line website, you'll see the character avatars for everyone in your party displayed. Once you click on "Select," there will be an option to "Decline a New DisneyBand+" under the character avatar at the top. This makes it easy to order for everyone or just one person in your traveling party. When you receive the MagicBand+ from your
Disney Store order, you can link it in
My Disney Experience, check that it's linked to your cruise account under the "Already Booked" tab, and then locate "DisneyBand+ & More" under "My Account." All active DisneyBand+ and MagicBand+ for your crew will be listed here. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, look for "Check Linking." Unlike the
Walt Disney World Resort and
Disneyland Resort, only one DisneyBand+ or MagicBand+ can be linked to your onboard account per Guest. When your embarkation day arrives, have those bands handy at the port so the Cast Member checking you in can verify they are linked correctly to your stateroom.
When you are
packing for your cruise, don't forget to bring the DisneyBand+ and MagicBand+ chargers. Although the bands will still open your stateroom door, be used during secured hours at youth programming, and make purchases without a charge, it's fun to experience the special effects during the cruise! It's always a special surprise to see them light up with a kaleidoscope of colors.
