DisneyBand+ is a great way to remain hands-free while vacationing on Disney Cruise Line.
Guests who are United States residents who have a booked reservation on select ships and sailings can purchase a DisneyBand+ online prior to sailing. I am not sure if you are sailing with them or not, but if you are not, you will not be able to purchase the band online. There are some available onboard for purchase, though. You can purchase
Onboard Credit for your friends to buy a DisneyBand+ once they have embarked. If they have a MagicBand+that they use at the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort, those can also be used onboard all Disney Cruise Line ships except for the Disney Adventure. Once a DisneyBand+ or MagicBand+ is linked to a Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person.
Each Guest will also receive a
Key to the World Card. While it doesn't offer the same hands-free convenience, it is used similarly to a DisneyBand+.
