Hey there, Kayla, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s exciting to see you here putting the finishing touches on your Walt Disney World Vacation planning. And judging by your questions, you’re almost to the planning finish line. So let’s jump into the answers and get you across the goal!
Disney’s Genie+ Service is available as a same-day Theme Park Ticket upgrade. This means that the Genie+ purchase window will open each morning at 12:01 am EST. You can purchase the service any time that day, but keep in mind that the service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re not a night owl, I recommend trying to complete your purchase before 7 am EST on the morning of your Theme Park visit. Guests can make their first Genie+ Lightning Lane Reservation at 7 am EST, and some attraction availability can fill quickly. So it’s helpful to have your purchase complete with time to spare before the reservation window opens!
And Kayla, if your
MagicBand is properly linked to your
My Disney Experience Account, it’s linked to your Theme Park Tickets. You can check your linked MagicBands by logging into your My Disney Experience Account and selecting the
MagicBands and Cards option to display your linked bands. If your band does not show up there, you can quickly
link it to your account and have the comfort that you are all set to head into the parks!
Lastly,
Disney’s MagicMobile Service can be used to access the Theme Parks. Disney’s MagMobile Pass is available through the My Disney Experience mobile app and gives Guests the opportunity to use their mobile device for Theme Park entry! Additionally, their mobile device can be used to access Lightning Lane queues, link Disney Photopass pictures, and much more! In my opinion, Disney’s MagicMobile Pass is an extremely convenient option for accessing the parks, even if used as a backup! You never know when someone may leave their MagicBand in the hotel room.
I hope this helps, Kayla! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
