Can we purchase the Disney MagicBands even if we are not staying in a Disney Resort?

    Hi Stacey,

Absolutely! You may even purchase your MagicBands before leaving for your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Purchase them from the Disney Store online or via the Shop Disney Parks app on your mobile device. If you opt to buy them after arriving on property, use the app to locate your favorite MagicBand designs. Alternatively, visit any of the MagicBand on Demand stations found at select merchandise locations. Each family member can then create their very own MagicBand. They can also purchase MagicBandits and MagicSliders to decorate their individual MagicBands.

Disney Mom Tip: Link your MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account. Any FastPass+ reservations booked ahead of time will then be associated with your MagicBands, even before arriving on Disney property! If you are staying at a resort that is not Disney-owned-and-operated, then you may book your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of your visit (one-day-at-a-time).

I hope you found this information useful, Stacey. Please come back to visit us again with more Disney vacation planning questions. We'll be thrilled to sprinkle pixie-dust on all your plans!

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
