    Is there any way to purchase Disney gift cards online from Canada?

    Hi Lara,

    Unfortunately, I have never purchased gift cards online only while on vacation in WDW or Disneyland.  I have read about many Canadians who have tried purchasing them online only to find out that when it comes time to tell them that you are in fact located in Canada that this will not be possible after all.  The reason why is that they had many gift cards disappear at the border and it was becoming a real problem as this is really like sending cash in the mail.  Disneyland is the last place I heard that you could have them mailed to you for a $20.00 shipping and handling fee (these gift cards look different but can be used in WDW), but again I have read recently that this really is not the case anymore (even with Disneyland) because of all these problems they were having at the border.  This is second hand information that I am forwarding on to you and as I have never tried this it is the closest information to the truth that I can find for you......so please don't accept my word for this 100%.  I would suggest to wait until you or someone you know is traveling there for a vacation and purchase the gift cards or Disney dollars on-site!  Have a magical day!
