    I want to purchase Disney gift cards in advance for tips, gifts, etc...Does most places in and around the resorts accept them and do they decrease in value over a couple months(not going until Feb 2011)?

    Hi Miranda!

    Disney gift cards are accepted widely throughout Disney World.  In fact, I've never found a place that wouldn't take them, and I've been to the parks hundreds of times (not exaggerating)!  You can order them in advance of your trip on www.disneygiftcards.com.  You don't have to worry about their value decreasing.  That doesn't happen and they have no expiration date.
