Hello and welcome to planDisney, Brian!
Wow, your Magical vacation is getting so close! Brian, like
Andy's favorite roller coaster, let's make you're ready to
go... go... GO!
Brian, linking your tickets to your
My Disney Experience account is the most important first step. Please take a look at
THIS page and click on "tickets" unless you're linking a vacation package (which includes a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay and theme park tickets). From there you'll be asked to log into your My Disney Experience account and then follow the prompts to link your tickets. Brian, pay close attention to the examples as there are multiple photos that will help you match your ticket type. If for some reason that still doesn't work, you'll want to
call in and speak to a Cast Member as soon as you're able.
planDisney tip: Lately phone lines have been a bit busy, so make sure to call at a convenient time when you're able to wait on hold. My fellow panelists and I like to use our speakerphones and tackle household chores while we wait... it's the planDisney version of whistling while we work!Brian, it's very important to note that in addition to a valid theme park ticket you will need a (complimentary) theme park reservation to gain park entry. Once your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can quickly make your
Disney Park Pass reservations by hovering over the bold "My Disney Experience" and then clicking on "Disney Park Pass System." You can select one park per day (pending availability). If you have park hopper tickets, you will be able to visit another park at 2:00 PM (pending availability).
Now, let's talk about wishes... which means, Disney Genie! If you're planning to use the upgraded Disney Genie+ each day of your trip, you can add this service in advance to each day of your ticket by
calling and speaking to a Cast Member. However, if you are only interested in adding Disney Genie+ to select days or for some parks, you can purchase this upgrade through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on the day of your visit.
Brian, I hope this helps as you're preparing for your holiday vacation. Come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
Wishing you a merry and Magical visit.
Lauren
