Hello, Mark! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to see that you are planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth this summer! It might be several months away still, but you've got plenty of planning to do!
You can definitely add your daughter's friend to your party! Start by logging in to your account on the
Walt Disney World website. Click on "My Disney Experience" and scroll down to "My Plans." That will take you to a page that says, "Mark's Plans and Tickets." If you scroll down, you'll find a section called "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets." On the right side of your screen, you will see a button that says "Change Reservation," and it will walk you through the steps to add a guest.
Her friend can make their own My Disney Experience account. They should do this before you make the changes, and you'll need to connect as "Family and Friends." This will be more convenient for them to manage their own tickets. Keep in mind, your resort room will need to be able to accommodate the additional guest. If you have any difficulty, call Walt Disney World Resort. I'll link the phone numbers
here. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you make the needed changes.
Since you'll have teens with you, try out the
Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar in
Disney Springs. My teens love to get a mocktail flight, take photos, and enjoy the views. And when the Florida sun gets a bit too hot, I recommend an afternoon at
Blizzard Beach. My teens love Summit Plummet - a 360-foot-tall high-speed water slide that's nearly straight down! The Melt-Away Bay is more my speed, but I also enjoy Teamboat Springs. It's got some twists and turns, but several of us can ride together, so it's extra fun.
I hope your group has the most magical vacation, Mark! I just know that you are going to make memories that last a lifetime! And if there's anything else we can help with here at
planDisney, be sure to let us know!
Always Dreaming -
Elizabeth
