Do you have to purchase the dinner with the Holiday Candlelight Processional in order to get tickets to the event? We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan for our visit and don't want to purchase additional (and unnecessary) meals. Thanks!

The short answer to your question, Carrie, is no.  It's not necessary to purchase the dinner package in order to attend the Candlelight Processional.  In fact, my family went last year and saved ourselves almost $400 by simply waiting in line for the performance instead of splurging on a dinner package.  If you choose to forgo the package, you should plan to get in line early, as seating is obviously limited.  Another tip would be to attend the earliest showing for your best shot to get in.  There really aren't tickets made available, rather guests just queue up for the show.  You should expect to be in line for an hour.  I hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
