Welcome to planDisney, Elena! I'm so happy to answer your question today.
To add one of the
dining plans to your vacation, you would need to purchase an eligible Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package, which typically includes a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation
and theme park tickets purchased together. If having a dining plan is important to you, which I'd completely understand, you can look into the cancellation policy for your current reservation and book a vacation package through the
Walt Disney World Resort website or
on the phone with a friendly Cast Member.
If you enjoy a table-service meal each day, where you sit down and have a server in a unique environment, I would recommend the
Disney Dining Plan (which will be called the "Table-Service Dining Plan" in 2027). With this plan, you can redeem a
table-service meal,
quick-service meal, and snack for each night of your hotel stay. While the quick-service meals are wonderful, I tend to like to book one sit-down meal a day to get off my feet and relax a bit, especially in the middle of the day. Starting in 2027, you'll have the choice to add the
Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan to eligible vacation packages, which will give you another table-service meal each night of your trip. Now
that's the way to really take your time, enjoy the finer things, and sounds like a
Disney foodie's dream!
Elena, if you have any other questions,
please feel free to bring them to me. I'd be happy to help you make the best of your next vacation to the resort!
Bon appétit,
Matt
