Can you just purchase a dining plan, without booking the entire vacation through the disney website? Thanks!

Yes and no, Stefanie.  It's not necessary to purchase your vacation package online; I know  a lot of people are uncomfortable with internet security.  Guests can certainly call to book vacation packages if that is the more comfortable route.  You would do so by dialing 1-407-WDW-STAY.  Now, if you're asking whether or not you have to purchase a vacation package (which includes resort accommodations as well as theme park tickets) in order to purchase the dining plan, the answer is yes.  The dining plan is not available a la carte; it must be purchased as part of a vacation package. I hope that helps.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
