    Can you just purchase a dining plan, without booking the entire vacation through the disney website? Thanks!

    Yes and no, Stefanie.  It's not necessary to purchase your vacation package online; I know  a lot of people are uncomfortable with internet security.  Guests can certainly call to book vacation packages if that is the more comfortable route.  You would do so by dialing 1-407-WDW-STAY.  Now, if you're asking whether or not you have to purchase a vacation package (which includes resort accommodations as well as theme park tickets) in order to purchase the dining plan, the answer is yes.  The dining plan is not available a la carte; it must be purchased as part of a vacation package.
