Can you purchase a dining plan if you are staying off resort?

    Hi Janelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to enjoy several delicious Disney dining experiences with a “prepaid” formula that allows you to not even have to look at your dining bills during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

In order to purchase a Disney Dining Plan, however, you need to be to purchase a Disney Resort Hotel Package, which means you need to be staying in a Disney Resort Hotel. This means that you can’t stay in an “off property” hotel, even if it's a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, and add a Disney Dining Plan to your stay.

I hope my answer helps you plan your family’s Disney Parks vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
