    If you purchase the dining plan, but have to postpone your vacation until the following month, can you also postpone your dining plan?

    Hi there Shawn, 

    Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question here today, I'm happy to help. 

    No matter how much we plan, things can always change. Fortunately, adjusting your Walt Disney World Resort reservation can be done smoothly. I spoke with a Cast Member today and inquired about modifying both a room reservation and a Disney Dining Plan. If you booked your Walt Disney World Resort reservation through Disney (this can be done over the phone or online) and linked it to your My Disney Experience account, you might be able to modify it online. To do this, log in to your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans". If your reservation can be modified, a link that says "Change Reservation" to the right of the confirmation number. When selected, you'll see options to adjust different parts of your reservation. If you prefer assistance, you can always make the changes over the phone and a friendly Cast Member can help. 

    Once you've modified your reservation, be sure to change any dining reservations you have made. Dining reservations can be made for a Disney Resorts Collection hotel 60 days before check in day. Reservations can be made at that time for the entire trip (up to 14 days) beginning at 7:00 AM EST. Guests not staying onsite still have the 60-day window but can make reservations day-by-day instead of all at once.

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World Resort in the Fall is attending a Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party. It is so much fun dressing up (if you wish!), Trick-or-Treating throughout Magic Kingdom Park and seeing the skies light up with Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is my favorite parade - the grave diggers are fantastic and I can't help but sing along with the parade soundtrack.
